RACEVIEW 3, BRANTWOOD 1
There was certainly no shortage of goal mouth action in this game and though four goals were scored a lot more could have been added to the score. Both teams were on the attack early on and Brantwood were showing well going forward but Race view were certainly dangerous with the quick break which was seen to good effect on the 16th minute when David Tenant made a strong run on the left before crossing the ball into the penalty box where it came off a defender and spun into the net. After this both teams had chances but no more goals were scored before half-time. The second half had only started off when a great ball from David Tenant put Barry Mott clear on the right wing who then made ground and cut in to blast an unstoppable shot into the Brantwood net on the 47th minute.
