CLOUGH Rangers Athletic got the better of neighbours Portglenone in a high-scoring Ballymena and Provincial Intermediate League 'derby' at Tobar Park on Saturday.
Clough continue to make good progress this season under the managership of Alan Boyd, but their task was made easier by the dismissal of Portglenone's goalkeeper as Athletic ran out 8-2 winners.
With Raceview not in action, they relinquished leadership of the Michelin Athletic Club-sponsored championship where the top nine teams are covered by just seven points.
