CLOUGH Rangers Athletic's hopes of an extended run in the Crawford Cup were ended at the first hurdle on Saturday.
Alan Boyd's side crashed out of the competition when they lost 3-1 to Dunloy, on a day when action across the intermediate and junior divisions was heavily curtailed by bad weather.
Off the field, the decisions of the league committee have had contrasting fortunes for the Ballymena borough's other two intermediate representatives.
With the reallocation of points following the withdrawal of Mosside, Raceview are now top of the Michelin Athletic Club-sponsored championship.
Whereas Raceview had lost to Mosside, previous leaders Dunloy – who had beaten their north Antrim rivals – have lost three points from that win, taking them back to level-pegging on 29 points with Raceview, although the Broughshane men have a better goal difference and three games in hand.
Portglenone have only won two league matches this season but one of them – their recent 4-3 win over Ballycastle - has been chalked off after the Ports were found to have played an ineligible player and the points went to Ballycastle, dumping Portglenone to the foot of the table.

CRAWFORD CUP ROUND ONE
Dunloy 3, Clough Rangers Athletic 1: This was a good cup tie with the result of the game being decided in the last ten minutes with Dunloy coming out on top to go into the next round.
Chances came and went for both teams in a very good opening first 45 minutes and at half-time Dunloy were in front thanks to a goal scored by Lee Kennedy on the 42nd minute.
The second half saw no let up in the pace of the game and Clough got a deserved equaliser after David Cameron scored on the 71st minute.
This set the game up evenly balanced and the next goal would be the all important one which went the way of Dunloy after Conor McKinley scored on the 81st minute.
Clough had to chase the game for a second time after this and with them pushing for an equaliser they got caught with John John McFerran scoring a third goal for Dunloy on the 84th minute that killed off any hope Clough had of taking the game to extra time.
Other result: Rasharkin United 2, Coleaine Crusaders 5.
JUNIOR DIVISION ONE
Result: Glebe Rangers Reserves 3, Ballyclare Comrades Reserves 2.
JUNIOR DIVISON TWO
Demesne Strollers 1, Moyola Park Olympic 2: Moyola, still undefeated this season in the league, had to be at heir best to deny a determined Demesne team who will look back and wonder why they failed to take a point from the game.
