DAVID Tennant hit a hat-trick for the second week running to keep Raceview top of the Ballymena and Provincial Intermediate League.
But while his 'treble' last week was in a 4-0 romp over Desertmartin, Saturday's trio of goals could prove altogether more decisive in the race for the Michelin Athletic Club-sponsored championship.
Tennant's goals – two of them in the final three minutes - hauled the Broughshane men out of a massive hole as they had trailed Clough Rangers for most of the game before somehow emerging with a 3-2 win.

INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE
Clough Rangers Athletic 2, Raceview 3: Clough appeared to have this game won with an hour played but then faded towards the end, conceding two very late goals to lose the game.
Clough had the best of the attacking play in the early part of the game then taking the lead after Andy Logan scored direct from a free kick on the 19th minute.
Raceview tried hard to get back into the game but fell further behind when Ross Steele rattled in goal number two for Clough on the 31st minute.
Half-time saw Clough in control with a two goal cushion and this remained until the 61st minute when David Tennant scored to put Raceview back into the game.
Time was then running out when poor defensive play allowed David Tennant to score the equaliser for Raceview on the 87th minute.
Things then got worse for Clough when David Tennant scored to complete his hat-trick for Raceview deep into stoppage time and a minute later a great effort from Andy Logan hit the Raceview crossbar to leave Clough with nothing from a game they had looked like winning.
Portglenone 5, Mosside 7: This was certainly a high scoring game which kept the spectators happy though the Ports followers will say when you score five goals you are expected to win the game.
Portglenone took the lead on the 3rd minute when Owen McAlynn scored but then saw William Tannahill cancel this out when he scored on the 7th minute.
Mosside then went in front after James McLaughlin converted a penalty on the 17th minute but then saw Portglenone go back in front through goals scored by Daniel Brady on the 29th and 40th minutes.
Mosside drew level again after Gary Nicholl scored on the 45th minute and took the lead again after James McLaughlin scored on the 55th minute. James McLaughlin then completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot on the 56th minute but Ports came back with another goal scored by Gary Kenny on the 60th minute but then a fourth goal scored by James McLaughlin on the 67th minute saw Mosside two goals clear again.
