INTERMEDIATE CUP

First Bangor 1, Raceview 3: There was little to choose between the teams for the first half-hour of this game but after David Tennant scored on the 37th minute to put Raceview in front the home side had to chase the game.

Raceview then increased their lead after Lee Garrett scored on the 44th minute and after he scored his second goal on the 48th minute they could see themselves in the next round.

After this the home side got going a bit better in attack and pulled a goal back on the 55th minute but Raceview then put up the shutters to go on and win the tie.

JUNIOR DIVISION ONE

Raceview Athletic 1, Ballyclare Comrades Reserves 4: Though losing the game the young Athletic team put up a good show against the league leaders and but for losing their keeper through injury and than a player sent off they may have caused an upset.

Athletic took the lead after Dean Surgenor scored on the 13th minute and held this lead until the 40th minute when a collision between their keeper and a defender left Phil Logue with a tap in for the goal.

Comrades then went in front on the 41st minute after Gerard Bond scored and added to this with a brace of goals scored by Jonny McClurg on the 50th and 75th minutes to cement their place at the top of the league table where it will be difficult for any team to dislodge them.

Other results: Ballymoney United Reserves 3, FC Larne 2; Magherafelt Sky Blues Reserves 4, Glebe Rangers Reserves 2; Chimney Corner Reserves 0, Tobermore United Reserves 1; Killymoon Rangers Reserves 2, Newtownabbey Sevens 0.

JUNIOR DIVISON TWO

Demesne Strollers 1, 3rd Ballyclare Old Boys 0: Both teams had many chances in the first-half to score in this game but on the day they appeared to have left their shooting boots at home.
