Entries are now open for this year’s much anticipated Somerford Park Premier League Dressage Show, the fourth of British Dressage’s eight annual Premier League competitions.

With Rio just a couple of months away this is the perfect opportunity to watch some of Britain’s leading dressage stars in action.

Three action packed days of competition are set to take place at Somerford Park in Cheshire on bank holiday weekend running from Saturday 28th - Monday 30th May 2016.

Highlights of the weekend include the Prix St George, a direct qualifier for the LeMieux National Championships in September plus Grand Prix and Freestyle to Music.

The show gets under way on Saturday with a host of classes ranging from Advanced Medium, Intermediate I & II, Prix St George and includes a Equitop Myoplast British Young Horse Five and Six Year Old Qualifier.

The Berkeley Homes Intermediate I kicks off proceedings on Sunday morning, and a star studded timetable ensues including the Grand Prix at midday and a glitzy evening to follow culminating in the Freestyle to Music supported by Bottega Prosseco who will be hosting a reception for owners, sponsors and riders. If you don’t want to miss out on the fun tickets for the evening reception can be purchased at a cost of £10 or 01260 299 888.

Bank Holiday Monday begins with a Prix St George, later in the morning and one of the high spots of the weekends proceedings is the Grand Prix Special.
