Emma and Tamara to the fore

Emma Bamford and Tamara topped both the 50 and 60cm classes at the Laurel View Jump X Challenge by riding a super clear round and knocking a second off the times by clearing the X fence too.

This left Spiffy and Victoria Graham and Dot Dot Dash and Dawn Reeve to settle for second in the 50 and 60cm classes respectively.

Sasha Wilson and Prepare for Glory rode with confidence round the 70cm fences securing the only clear round, before shaving a second off their time by conquering the X fence. The blue ribbon for the seventies was earned by Rafina D’Egree and Joyce Scott.

Miriam Wright and The Castletown Lad whizzed round the 80cm course, keeping it quick, clean and clear to take the top spot in the class. Loughview Clover Jones and Tracey Lockhart were just a shade slower in second.

The red ribbon for the 90cm class was won by Patricia Feeney and Ricos Patience, while in the metre they had to settle for blue, as Lyndsey Young and Canterbury Lady pipped them to the post.

Jumping continues at Laurel View on Wednesday evenings for the Pounds for Points Showjumping right through to the final on April 27 and if Wednesday nights don’t work why not try to get along to the “Just Jumping” competition on April 17.
