From field to show ring clinic
STRULE Valley Riding Club in Omagh, Co Tyrone, is holding a clinic at Ecclesville entitled ‘From Field to Show Ring’ with Toni Donnelly on Wednesday 13th June commencing at 7pm.
The cost is £5 each for adults and £3 for children.
This is a practical demo and lecture which will cover everything a rider will need to know to get sorted for the coming show season.
Topics which will be covered include horse type and correct conformation, nutrition, health, fitness and training, grooming products and ‘tricks of the trade’, tack and turnout, different classes, correct etiquette and dress for riders.
The practical demo will include riders from Strule Valley under Toni’s instruction, who will be shown how to ride a show correctly and then focus on the proper way of jumping a working hunter course.
Everyone is encouraged to come along for what promises to be a fun night out.
