2012 has been a huge year in the busy life of the Iveagh Branch of the Pony Club, not least because it’s the 50th anniversary of the formation of the branch.

The District Commissioners are delighted that the branch has reached this exciting milestone and as a celebration are hosting an anniversary party with wine and cheese, live music and dancing.

The date for the anniversary party is Friday 23rd November at 8pm at the Bannville House Hotel, near Banbridge. Admission is strictly over 18s and the tickets are priced at £10 each.

It is hoped that many ex-members, parents, friends, supporters, associates and instructors will attend.

This should prove to be a wonderful and nostalgic evening.

Vanne Campbell is greatly looking forward to seeing and chatting to friends that she hasn’t seen in years.

She commented: “It would be lovely to get in touch with some of our previous members with whom we have lost contact.”

There will be an exciting announcement on the evening, regarding plans to preserve the history and heritage of the branch, and those attending are encouraged to share their memories of the branch.

Tickets are available to be purchased from the following: The Equestrian Store; Annaghmore Saddlery; Smyths Saddlery, Newry; Kids Academy, Banbridge; Iveagh Halloween Show; Iveagh Committee members or by texting 07884 258325 or emailing vannecampbell@gmail.com.
