Melissa dresses to impress at Mackenzie’s Christmas Show

THERE was a good turnout for the Christmas Show held at Mackenzie’s Equestrian Centre, Randalstown.

With it being Christmas, there was a Fancy Dress class, won by Melissa McClenaghan on Dante, dressed as Santa.

The cross-poles, as usual, got the night underway, with Bethany Orr jumping a lovely round. There were also good jumping from Jamie Cotton, Sandra Lee and Melissa McClenaghan in the 30cms; from Diane Peppert in the 45-50cms and Florence Mulholland, Yasmin Boyle and Beth Boone in the 70cms.

The 80cm class was won by Rebecca Halliday on Lucy, with Beth Boone second on Angel.

Beth, though, topped the 90 cms, also on Angel, with Mikie Mackenzie in second slot, on Spinelli.

The 1 metre class saw Dean Cotton on Annie jumping well.
