Newry Hunt Fundraises for Marie Curie
Last year, Newry Hunt hosted, with the help of Scarvagh House, a fundraising donkey derby for Marie Curie in Northern Ireland.
The donkey derby was held during the NI Countrysports Fair at Scarvagh House and, whilst also being very entertaining, raised a substantial £750 for Marie Curie. Pictured is the cheque being presented at our annual children’s hunt.
Newry Hunt would like to thank all of our supporters and land owners, without whom it would not be possible for the club to continue. The annual point-to-point will take place on Saturday 6th May 2017 at Taylorstown in Poyntzpass, and is always a great afternoon of racing.

The hunt will again be running some equestrian events at the NI Countrysports Fair, held at Scarvagh House in May, which are open to everyone. For more information, keep an eye on the Newry Hunt facebook page.
