Riders ready for Ecclesville finale

Competitors braved another evening of wet and windy weather to ensure they have qualified for the final of Ecclesville’s last league of 2015.

With a few new combinations through to this final, the organisers are anticipating a great evening of showjumping.

There is also a turnout prize in each class, kindly sponsored by Omagh Equestrian and Countrywear.

Spectators are very welcome to come along and cheer on these competitors.

Everyone is welcome to come along and jump, whether they are qualified or not.

There was a real buzz about Ecclesville Centre, Fintona as competitors took part in

week three of Ecclesville’s popular Showjumping League.

Raymond Caldwell’s courses continue to draw a great crowd of enthusiastic showjumpers and spectators.

The Showjumping League will continue for the next two Friday evenings, commencing at 6.15pm with a 40cms class, followed by 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm, 1m and 1.10m.

Competitors are reminded that the same combination rider/pony must have competed in the same class for three out of the four weeks prior to the final to be eligible for prizes on 11 December.

A date for the equestrian diary is Ecclesville’s Christmas Cracker Show on Sunday 27 December. There will be lots of showjumping, novelty classes and a mounted fancy dress parade.
