The Saintfield Christmas Charity Ride takes place this Saturday(6th December) at Saintfield Livestock Mart, Belfast Road, Saintfield.
The ride meets at 11.00am for a Mulled Wine and Mince Pie Reception in the marquee.
Led by the real Santa in his magnificent horse drawn carriage the 2014 Santa Ride will then leave the mart at 12.00 noon arriving on Saintfield Main Street at approximately 1.00pm.
The route is as follows: Turn left, 150 yds, turn right and then right again into Monlough Road, running parallel with the Belfast Road, at the end of the road turn left towards Saintfield and then second left into Windmill Road at the end of the road turn right into the Station Road and straight into Saintfield Town.
After stopping at the Christmas Tree, the well wishers will be entertained with live Christmas music from Panache and lots of craic from comedian Terence McKeag.
The ride will then make its way towards Lisburn and then off to the right into the Old Belfast Road and then first right into the Lessans Road and back to the mart for lunch and more live music and craic.
The ride is strictly a hack and therefore suitable for all riders.
The cost of the ride is £20 adults and £10 children which includes the Mulled Wine Reception and lunch.

There are great prizes to be won for the best dressed Santas and who ever gets the most sponsorship money.
Entrance into the marquee is free and anyone wishing to have lunch can do so for a donation of £5, children under 12 free.
