Cavan is venue for international action

Cavan Equestrian Centre will host their 15th Annual International Horse Show from Wednesday 5th to Sunday 9th November.
This Five day event is the most prestigious Equestrian event in Ireland. This year approximately 1500 horses and riders will be competing for a prize Fund of €50,000.
Jumping will commence at 8am daily and will continue all day until approximatel
y 9pm. The competitions will cover all height categories from 1m to 1.50m, for all ages of horses.
The highlights of the five day event:
Thursday, November 6, at 7.30pm Drumhowan Stud 3 year old loose jumping Championship, where 28 qualified horses will be put through their paces.
Friday, November 7, starts the International part of the show and will commence with the Gain Welcome Stakes at 4:30pm and WKD Jump Off at 7:30pm.
Saturday, November 8, is an action packed day with the Amateur Autumn League Final at 2:30pm, International Competition number three will commence at 4:30PM, Cavan County Council Jump Off At 7PM, and the novelty event which will be the Puissance.
Sunday, November 9, is the finals of all competitions, The International speed at 3pm, and the grand finale of the show is the Cavan Grand Prix, which will see top riders competing for €12,000.
This is a show not to be missed, everyone welcome to attend, admisson free.
