IPS Northern Area confirms 2010 dates

DATES have now been finalised for the IPS Northern Area 2010 season as follows:
* Northern Area Spring Show – Saturday 10th April at 10am sharp, Knockaghview Equestrian Centre, Greenisland;
* Ballynahinch Charity Show – Saturday 8th May at 9am sharp, Thornleigh House, Downpatrick Road, Ballynahinch. This show is in Aid of NI Ch
ildren's Hospice. It includes both Pony and Horse Showing and Working Hunter classes;
* Northern Area Summer Show – Saturday 22nd May at 9am sharp, Thornleigh House, Downpatrick Road, Ballynahinch;
* Northern Area Championship Show – Saturday 3rd July at 9am sharp, Thornleigh House, Downpatrick Road, Ballynahinch.
These shows are all points accumulators for the Silver League Awards and also National Points Awards. The NA Championship Show will be points and half.
The schedules are currently being prepared for these shows and will be available in the near future to download with the entry forms in the Northern Area Region section of the IPS website www.irishponysociety.com.

Meanwhile, the IPS (Northern Area) Annual Awards Dinner takes place on Saturday 20th February at La Mon House Hotel, Gransha Road, Belfast at 7.30pm.
Details of the dinner and booking forms will also be available on the website to download. Forms are to be returned by 6th February.
