NI schools compete in charity event
THE Third Annual Charity Schools' Show Jumping kicked off on Monday, April 7, at the Meadows, Lurgan, by kind Permission of the Mc Cusker Family.
In spite of the weather the event was a huge success with the Royal School ,Armagh, Down High Prep and Ulidia Integrated, Carrickfergus collecting the silver.
A magnificent total of £1562.49 was raised at the event for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.
Horsewear Antrim sponsored all the prizes which were outstanding all the winners in the six classes were over the moon with there prizes A lot of smiling faces at the presentation when the prizes and Rosettes were received
Baileys Horse Feeds sponsored the Rosettes and this year and in the new individuals classes the winners received sashes for the first prize where the young rider where over whelmed with ,as most of the young riders had never won sashes before the smiles on their faces was unbelievable
A very special thank you to Downshire Riding club for all their help running this event.
