Casilda Lydon, Director of The Miniature Horse Association of Ireland was present at the Show to oversee presentation of Championship Sashes and prestigious qualifiers. The winning combination in the Miniature Horse Championship was M. McFarland with Bucks On Silver Smith.
The judges all commented on the friendly and relaxed atmosphere at the NPS Show and were impressed with how pleasant and well mannered the children were. In the new NPS BSPM & Co, Mini Supreme Championship, Darcy Curlett took the championship sash on Desna and Brian Lewis's Show Hunter Lead Rein pony, Chacton Bury Cuckoo. Hannah Thompson and Kenilwood April won the Reserve Supreme title. The 1st Reserve Supreme rosette was won by Sophie McDonald on Huttons Ambo Mayflower and also was 1st Reserve Supreme in the Best Rider Championship. Sophie had an excellent day and dominated the M&M Ridden classes. She won the M&M Open Ridden Champion and the NPS Mountain & Moorland Silver Medal before completing the hat trick by also being NPS 1st Reserve Supreme Ridden Champion.
The overall Ridden Supreme Championship was won by Laura Campbell on her 148cms Show Pony winner, Brookvale Posy. Laura won the Show Pony Championship en route to winning the NPS Brookvale Ridden Supreme title. Laura also added the Ballyloughan Best Rider Championship to her tally of wins before being awarded the NPS Storm Beauty Clinic 1st Reserve Supreme of the Show Championship title.
The Reserve Supreme Ridden award went to the Novice Supreme Champion, Lauren Finn on Brookwater Lord of the Light.
The NPS Storm Beauty Clinic overall Supreme of the Show was dominated by the In-Hand ponies. Ballyloughan Ponies scooped the top award with Stanley Grange Temptress after having won the Show Pony Breeding Championship, the NPS Show Pony In-Hand Silver Medal and the Brookvale Stud In-Hand Supreme Championship.
The Reserve Supreme In-Hand Championship and Reserve Supreme of the Show went to the Connemara Broodmare and Connemara Champion, Glenmore Kelly's Owen, owned by Francis and Deirdre O'Reilly from Co Louth.
