Alongside the beef classes there will be judging for pairs of commercial prime lamb, classes include Texel, Charollais, Beltex, Suffolk, Dorset, Mule/Greyface and Blackface. Judging of the lambs will start at 4pm.

Young handlers judging will take place at 4.30pm. This is a great competition and a great opportunity to get young people involved in the fat stock sale. If you are 16 years or younger and have a beef animal that you feel you can show, feel free to come along. This animal does not need to go for sale.

Entry forms for beef, Sheep and Young Handlers are all available in the mart office and on the website

Fat stock sale will start in the evening in ring one at 6pm with the prime lambs, followed at 7pm with the beef cattle. At 9pm approximately a charity auction will take place on behalf of Gleno Valley YFC
