Avant manufactures a range of compact, multi-purpose tool carriers at its facility in Finland which many UK farmers have found to be highly useful for a wide variety of tasks wherever space and access is at a premium.

The company will be exhibiting a full range of machines at the forthcoming LAMMA event on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd January 2015 at the East of England Showground, Peterborough, including its new flagship 760i model, together with a selection of the latest attachments and some very special farm package offers.

Also of interest will be Avant’s R-Series machines which, unlike the rest of its range, places the driver on the rear portion of the articulated chassis. This layout makes it easier for the operator to negotiate tight turns in either direction with both accuracy and safety.

The R28 and R35 models are powered by Kubota diesel engines developing 21kW and 28kW respectively driving via hydrostatic, 4 wheel drive transmissions. Compared with other makes of rear-seated loader, the Avant design offers a much more compact package with the additional benefit of a telescopic boom providing a maximum lifting height of up to 2820 mm in the case of the R35.
