Mr John Morahan, Mayo, judged the Armoy sale this year and found his champion from the flock of B McElhennon, Slievegallion, thus being the first prize ram lamb H2, sired by D23 Hewgill and selling for 400gns.

Reserve champion was awarded to the first prize shearling ram presented by Michelle Wright, Mullaghwee, sired by Z4 Hundith and selling for 550gns.

Overall champion went to B McElhennon which realised 400gns. Also included are judge John Morahan and Alister Sampson, Volvac, sponsor

Topping the sale at 950gns was the first prize ewe lamb and champion female from J and S Flock of Jim Harkin for a smart lamb by E5 Temain.

Jim Harkin also received 600gns for the third prize ewe lamb also sired by E5 Temain.

Seamus Laverty, Orraview, topped the shearling section at 850gns bred by F1 Orraview.

Tom Crowe was next in the prices at 720gns for a shearling by D3 Whiteside.

William Adams, Holmview was close behind at 700gns for a D4 Blairmount son.

William Adams also topped the ram lamb section at 460gns for one by D7 Firth.

Alister Sampson, Volac again kindly sponsored the event.
