Busy times at Newtownards
The first club outing of the year consisted of a very informative tour around Lakeland Dairies learning about what happens to milk once it leaves the yard in the milk tanker.
It was an enjoyable evening and the club would like to thank David Stewart and his colleagues for giving up their time to show everyone around.

Over Hallowe’en members enjoyed a night of scary stories by candlelight courtesy of Eamon Keenan. Safe to say some members may have had a little trouble getting to sleep that night!
The club had great success at the recent public speaking finals, held in Antrim Grammar.
All four members who qualified at the county heats were placed. Sara Townley was placed first in the 16-18 impromptu; Sarah Robinson was third in the 18-21 prepared; Joy Dalzell was third in the 21-25 prepared and Andrew Patton took second place in the 25-30 impromptu.
Members are looking forward to a busy winter programme with even a trip to the pantomime planned.
