Plans are well underway for the Livingstone family’s third annual Christmas Tractor Run on Saturday 27th December.

The tractor spectacular, which this year has a new starting point in the heart of Armagh city, is expected to attract participants and spectators from throughout the Province.

Armagh Business Park on the Hamiltonsbawn Road is the venue for the charity event, with registration commencing at 10am.

The tractor cavalcade will set off on its route from Armagh to Caledon via Killylea at noon. The expected time of arrival in Killylea is 1pm, moving on to Caledon for 1.30pm.

On returning to Armagh everyone is invited to a barbecue and great afternoon’s craic from 3pm. This is a community event for all age groups. During the day spectators will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with drivers and view the large array of tractors taking part.

A spokesman for the organising committee said: “This is our third annual tractor run, and to date we have raised over £45,000 for charity. We hope that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever.”

The 2014 Tractor Run is proudly supported by Armagh City and District Council, Armagh Business Park and PCSP.

Proceeds will be donated to the Southern Area Hospice and the NI Children’s Hospice.
