Momentum is building for The Northern Ireland CountrySports Fair, with just a few days to go until the main event in Scarvagh House, Banbridge (6th-7th June).

The Fair is a two day extravaganza celebrating the top country sports and country pursuits which are thriving throughout Ireland – from gun dog tests and archery to clay pigeon shooting and angling.

High octane attractions including the Yakovlevs air display, Phoenix Falconry and the Trial Star Motorcycle Trails are confirmed for the main arena over the course of the weekend. Over 170 exhibitors will be showcasing at the event, 1,000+ competitors are set to compete and 18,000 visitors are expected to pass through the gates of the Fair.

Derek Lutton, Event Director for the Northern Ireland CountrySports Fair commented: “With one week to go, we are busy with the final preparations for the show. We’re thrilled to be unveiling the all new NI CountrySports Fair at Scarvagh House and hope to attract visitors from far and wide. Whether you are looking for a fun family-day out or are a country sport enthusiast we want to see you at the Fair!”

Translink will be operating a shuttle bus service running on both Saturday and Sunday from the War Memorial in Banbridge and Portadown Train Station to Scarva Centre (The Park Inn) – Scarvagh House is a short 5-10 minute walk from here. This service will cost £4.80 from Banbridge (return) and £5.40 from Portadown (return).
