President Iris Graham welcomed everyone to the annual dinner which was held in the Templeton Hotel.

The members enjoyed a delicious meal and were entertained with a programme of table quizzes, poems, spot prizes and musical items by the choir members.

The awards, which included a new trophy for the Baking competition donated by Ruth Graham, were presented by honorary member Nessie Park.

A number of lucky ladies won prizes in the free ballot with gifts donated by the committee.

Competition for a bookmark: First Kathleen Lowry, second Theresa McLaughlin, third Mary Duncan.

The birthday girl was Pearl Chambers and vice president Hazel Minford proposed the vote of thanks for a very enjoyable evening.
