Mounthill Fair will take place on Saturday, October 3, at Crosshill Road, Larne, BT40 3EB, by kind permission of the Mackey family, Ballynure.

The fair will feature a range of horse and pony classes, a variety of local food, trade and craft stalls, bouncy castle, a host of home grown entertainment, Young Farmer’s activities and a pet show at 3pm, kindly sponsored by Rosalind Woodside and her team at Gleno Veterinary.

Horse and pony classes commence at 11am. Entries will be taken in the field from 10.00am. For copies of the schedule and for any horse and pony enquiries, please contact Marie Bell on 028 9337 8850. For general enquiries, please contact Ariane Matthews, on 07523090877.

The fair’s nominated charity is the RNLI (Larne Branch). All monies generated from trade-stands, car-parking, donations and sponsorship will be presented to the charity.

The organising committee would like to thank the fair’s many sponsors for their generous donations. Thanks are also extended to Gleno Young Farmers’ Club, Raloo Presbyterian Church Boys Brigade, local government agencies and the PSNI for their practical help and support.

Please note that remaining trade stand space is limited and that anyone still wishing to avail of space should get in touch.

The society’s award presentation dinner will take place on Friday 16 October 2015, St John’s Masonic Centre, Mill Brae, Larne at 7.30pm. Admission is by ticket only and tickets will be available to purchase at the fair.

The organising committee of the 2015 fair are hoping for continued success and growth with the help of some old, and some new faces, including their very own Mounthill Fair bear, kindly donated by Terry’s Sweets, Ballymena for the raffle in support of the RNLI.

Tickets are priced at £1 and are available from the secretary.
