Co. Fermanagh farmer, Terry Roberts, was recently invited to be part of the Marks & Spencer showstand at Balmoral Show, in association with Linden Foods.

Terry runs a 200 cow suckler operation at ‘Mantlin Farm’ in Kesh and two of his AA steers recently took centre stage, as part of the regional producer showcase, on the M&S stand.

Terry and his wife Rosie have been breeding Aberdeen Angus cattle for the past 15 years. The foundation herd of Charolais and Limousin cows have been crossed with pedigree Aberdeen Angus bulls and the top heifers retained for breeding.

The remaining stock is marketed through Linden foods and Aberdeen Angus schemes and produce O+4 and R4 grade carcasses averaging 20-350kg.

Terry commented: “We were privileged to have been part of the regional suppliers and producers showcase on the M&S stand at Balmoral Show, a testament to the relationship we have with Linden Foods and Marks & Spencer.”
