The Northern Ireland Farm Toy and Model Show takes place in the Magherabuoy House Hotel, Portrush on Friday 27 March, from 2pm to 10pm.

Families and tractor enthusiasts of all ages are invited to come down and visit the longest running model tractor show in Ireland.

Enter an exciting world of miniature toy and model tractors, and uncover the handiwork of local producers offering handcrafted replicas of real machines. Search for old, rare or discontinued models.

Meet Muddyfarm Models who produced the muddy Show Tractor named ‘River Margy’. The ‘little people’ at Muddytrac Farm in North Antrim have been working hard at the muddy tractor factory to produce 50 realistic muddied New Holland T7 200 tractors based on a real tractor owned by local contractors - McConaghy Contracts.

Benefiting from all proceeds raised in the ongoing prize draws and an auction will be Rural Support who shall be on hand providing information about their helpline service for farm families and rural dwellers. Top prize in the Prize Draws will be a muddied Fendt 724 tractor. A further muddied Fendt 724 will also go under the hammer in the Charity Auction. Both Fendts have been specially produced for the Show by www.muddyfarmmodels.com.

Visitors can also avail of the free Farm Families Health Checks, a one stop mobile facility which shall be offering free health assessments and advice.

See first hand what could possibly be the largest muddy model tractor in the world! This 1:16 scale mega John Deere 9560R will be on display at the Show and visitors are encouraged to come and get a ‘selfie’ with this giant of a tractor on its’ worldwide journey which began in China, then on to the United States of America and Ireland before it ultimately embarks to South Africa. Truly a globetrotting giant which will be well worth seeing on the Muddyfarm Models Stand at the Show.
