Have your say

Hillhall YFC have been having a successful club year and have had their fair share of events to host.

On 27th December 2014 Hillhall YFC hosted their annual “Welly at the barn” in the Four Trees in Moira.

This was a great night out for all, with many people attending in their most fashionable wellies and Christmas jumpers.

Not long after this came the clubs annual tractor run on January 3, 2015.

With a total of 85 tractors showing up at Harry Simpson’s yard, all washed and cleaned ready to hit the road in convoy, and even Laura Phillips had decorated her tractor in Christmas fairy lights in the hope to win the prize for the most lit up tractor.

However she was out shone by Graham Warden who claimed the prize.

On route there were many spectators out on the sunny afternoon watching as we travelled through Lisburn and also some spectators who weren’t so happy stuck behind a fleet of tractors.

Never the less all 85 tractors were back at the yard while everyone chatted around the barbecue and buns.

Many thanks must go to our new shirt sponsor Mullholland butchers of Lisburn who provided the burgers which were thoroughly enjoyed from the best farm quality assured butcher in Lisburn.

Money raised at these events will help go towards the clubs 2015 chosen charity.
