Johnston Gilpin continue their support of machinery handling

The Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster (YFCU) are proud to announce Johnston Gilpin as the continued and long term sponsor of the Machinery Handling competition which will be held at this year’s Balmoral Show.

The continued sponsorship was announced at Johnston Gilpin & Co Ltd headquarters in Lisburn, Co. Down.

Last year’s winners, Co. Antrim members Michael Rodgers and Harry Thompson, Randalstown YFC, were joined at the announcement with David Lowe and Paul Kelly, from The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) and Gethin Evans, Johnston Gilpin, Sales Representative.

Johnston Gilpin representative, Gethin Evans, talked of their continued sponsorship of the Machinery Handling Competition at Balmoral Show, “a more than 40 years old partnership with the YFCU and HSENI is something we are very proud of and the annual tractor handling competition final something we look really forward to every year. We hope to be involved for many more years to come and will continue to supply the best equipment for the event.”

All six counties have the opportunity to take part to test their capabilities on a challenging course designed by the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI).
