Killinchy Young Farmers’ Club held their annual treasure hunt and barbecue on Thursday 23rd July.
The hunt saw 41 car loads of enthusiastic treasure hunters take to the roads of Killinchy to work through the challenging paper.
Everyone was driven round the bend trying to figure out the cryptic clues.
It was a close finish between Graham Furey and Trevor Millar.
First place was decided by the nearest estimation of the treasure hunt trail length – 15.0 miles of beautiful countryside.
Graham came out on top with Trevor coming in second and John Maxwell in third place.
Congratulations to the deserving winners and to everyone who took part in the event.
The club would like to thank Richard Davidson for devising the clues and to all that helped out on the night.
Everyone’s efforts resulting in raising approximately £500 in aid of club funds.
