Six men arrested after 'serious assault' in Co Antrim bar.
Police said that at around 6pm a group of men entered McConnell's Bar on Main Street in Doagh with weapons including hammers and baseball bats before attacking a man in his 40s.
The man was taken to hospital where he's being treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Detective Sergeant Robinson said: "We believe that the males then left the scene on foot to waiting cars and left the area.

An entry of 520 store cattle, weanlings and sucklers at Markethill on Saturday 30th April continued to sell in an exceptionally good trade.

The quality of cattle on offer was very good.

HEIFERS

The 190 store heifers sold in an excellent demand. Mid weight heifers to £229 for 376k at £860 followed by £217 for 392k at £850. All good quality lots from £190 to £213 per 100 kilos. Forward heifers to £195 for 566k at £1105. Top price £1130 for 580k (195). Main demand from £180 to £192 per 100 kilos. Second quality heifers from £160 to £175 per 100 kilos.

An increased entry of sucklers sold in a very strong demand to a top of £1380 for a Simm cow and bull calf. Others sold at £1270k, £1200 and £1100.

Dairy stock sold to £1170 at Markethill on Tuesday 3rd May for a calved heifer from a Loughgall producer.

An entry of 13 in-calf heifers from a Whitecross farmer sold to £950 each with others at £820, £810 and £760.

CULL COWS

The 120 cull cows sold in an exceptionally strong trade for all classes. Beef-bred cows from £120 to £140 for 638k at £890. Fleshed Friesian cows to £112 for 668k at £750. Main demand from £100 to £108 per 100 kilos. Second quality friesians from £80 to £95 per 100 kilos with thin cows in very good demand from £60 to £75 per 100 kilos. Clean cattle to £188 for 634k at £1190.
