As Lisnamurrican YFC enters their 75th year the club seems to be building their strength.
The first club meeting saw 35 new members attending boosting membership to well over 100.
The second club meeting involved jiving lessons from the excellent Matthew Sloan and Zara Leslie. It saw a great swarm of members taking to the floor to learn a few moves.
The year ahead holds many events to celebrate there 75th anniversary, with the first event being a charity lamb sale.
The charity lamb sale is taking place on Monday the 26th October in Ballymena Livestock Market.
All money raised from the event will be donated to Sensory Kids in Broughshane, helping them but new equipment to enhance the work that they do.
This is a great cause and if anyone would like to make a donation or donate a lamb for the sale please contact any member or contact Joe on 07871 814800.
The club is preparing for a hectic winter programme with various members competing in many different competitions.
The club is also busy working ahead to plan for the club’s 75th club dinner. The dinner is being held on Saturday, January 23rd.
The club would like to thank everyone for the support over the years and hope to continue the club’s strong bond with the community, past members and of course everyone who support the club in any way.
