Lylehill YFC have been making the most of the summer season and have recently held a variety of highly successful events.

The club barbecue at the new venue of Antrim Rugby Club was a great evening, with a large crowd in attendance.

The club would like to thank their fellow young farmers for showing their support for this event.

Lylehill YFC also held a Treasure Hunt around the local roads which proved to be a great evening for all the family to enjoy.

Those attending enjoyed a challenging Treasure Hunt and were rewarded with a light supper on their return to the hall.

Following the success of last year’s event, Lylehill YFC decided to once again
hold their Jamesie Watt Memorial Charity Tractor Run, and the event had an attendance of over 80 tractors and vehicles.

Those participating enjoyed a delicious barbecue after they had completed the course on a beautiful sunny evening.

Proceeds from the event went towards Lylehill’s Charity of the Year, Shine.

Lylehill YFC members have also supported other club’s events throughout the summer, taking football teams to sports nights and attending barbecues around the country.

Members also look forward to the winter season’s events.

The first of the club’s new members evenings was held on Monday 7th.

The second is due to be held on Monday 14th September at the club hall, Lylehill Road, at 8pm.

The Monday 14th event will be an information evening when the various competitions and events in Lylehill YFC’s busy calendar will be explained.

New members are encourage to attend these evenings to meet everyone and get a flavour of what the YFCU is all about.

The club would like to warmly welcome all those who are considering joining Young Farmers to come along and join in.
