The rising sheep trade resulted in an increased entry of numbers from the previous sale.

On the day fat lambs sold to £92.50 and fat ewes to £75.00.

A special entry of two to four year old breeding ewes from a Killinchy farmer, sold to a top price of £135.00, leading prices in all categories as follows:
