Another good entry of cattle on Friday saw dropped calves sell to £500 for s Closkelt farmer who sold a further 2 at £450 and £405 for a heifer calf.

A Banbridge farmer sold a pen of strong Lim heifers at £475 (twice) and £430. A Castlewellan farmer reached £465 (twice) for 2 bull calves. Weanlings reached £930 for a 512k AA from Lisnawad. A Gilford farmer reached £870 for a 370k Her. A Lisburn farmer sold 2 FCK bulls at £845 each. A pen of weanlings from Co Fermanagh sold to £845 for a 414k AA. A Markethill farmer topped the heifer section at £910 and £900 for 2 Ch. A larger entry of bullocks saw a Downpatrick farmer top the sale at £1100 for a 590k Her. A Newry farmer sold a 552k AA at £1095. Fat cows sold to £1000 for a 690k DAQ. Suckler heifers with calves cleared up to £1240 each for a Ballymartin farmer.
