Business Development Groups will use group discussion to help you maximise the output from your pigs
Business Development Groups will use group discussion to help you maximise the output from your pigs

Business Development Groups are open for application until 4.00pm on Monday 14 December.

The groups will be managed by CAFRE (College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise) staff and create an excellent opportunity for producers to identify husbandry and technical improvements which will help to improve enterprise incomes.

DARD are recruiting about 100 pig producers to gain the benefits of this programme. Groups will meet a number of times per year.

In the interests of biosecurity, farm visits will be replaced by meetings in venues where members can use multimedia to present their farm enterprises for group discussion. Participants will get support payments for attending and facilitating these talks.
