Slideshow: Ulster Rugby star addresses Farmers Club

The Farmers Club of London held their dinner at Balmoral Park ahead of this week’s Balmoral Show.

Irish rugby star Rory Best captivated the audience with an inspiring talk at the Farmers Club Balmoral pre-show dinner in the President’s Marquee on the showground on the evening of Tuesday 12th May.

Rory, whose family farms at Poyntzpass, County Armagh, has won 166 caps as hooker and captain for Ulster and was a member of the Irish team that won this year’s RBS 6 Nations Championship, as well as the 2007 Triple Crown.

He was part of the Irish Squad for the 2007 Rugby World Cup and the 2009 Six Nations Championship, which completed the Grand Slam.

Farming Life’s Steven McAuley was on hand to capture images of the evening.
