Following on from the successful launch of www.pedigreesales.co.uk in 2016, plans are well in hand for a second online sale of pedigree Beef Shorthorn cattle featuring the noted Caramba herd of Tom Staunton, Galway.
In addition to a first class line up from Caramba there are also guest consignors in the form of Rowanberry (Shane and Frances Brigdale) and Martyn Moore.
The on line catalogue comprises of two in calf heifers, 12 yearling heifers, three service age bulls, four junior bulls and eight grade one embryos.
This offering combines some of the very best Canadian, Australian, UK and Irish genetics available. Sires include HC Free Spirit 6Y, Carrarock Chalkie, Rowanberry Finest, Bushypark Ultra, and Kamilaroi Meat Packer to note just a few.
Already there has been strong interest in the cattle that are for sale, with the pre sale videos having chalked up hours of views to date. Sale lots include the All Ireland Junior Bull Champion, full sister to the highly acclaimed Caramba Hottie, and the first progeny of the exceptional Rowanberry Finest.
Buyers of the cattle can sit back and wait for their purchases to be delivered without charge as Caramba and Rowanberry will take care of this as a “luck penny”.
All lots are detailed with reserve prices and registered users are able to bid above these threshold figures. This then activates a countdown time which starts at 72 hours and counts down to zero. If there are no higher offers then the bidder is successful!
Each lot has been photographed, and in some cases video footage is also available. Full pedigree history is detailed for consideration, with any points of interest such as show and sale success history of parents.
