Ulster Unionist Agriculture Spokesperson, Jo-Anne Dobson MLA and her party colleague Jim Nicholson MEP, have wished organisers and exhibitors well ahead of next week’s Balmoral Show.

In a joint statement the Ulster Unionist representatives said: “Next week’s Balmoral Show is the start of Northern Ireland’s busy agricultural show calendar and acts as a major shop window for all aspects of our innovative agri-food industry - an industry which is a hugely important part of our economy.

“The Ulster Unionist Party was the first political party to have a stand at the Balmoral Show and we have been present every year since. This year is no exception and we look forward to welcoming visitors to stand SV129 in the Shopping Village.

“This is a great opportunity for visitors to discuss a range of issues and concerns directly with Ulster Unionist representatives - please call at our stand throughout the three day event.

“The Balmoral Show continues to go from strength to strength and once again organisers have ensured there is something for everyone. The show is an opportunity for the public to sample a wide range of quality local produce, see world class livestock and exhibits plus enjoy what is a great day out for all the family.

“We wish organisers and exhibitors well as they make their final preparations ahead of what we are sure will be another enjoyable and successful event.”
