A Mid Ulster farmer has become the first in Northern Ireland to rear buffalo on his land near Ballyronan.

The animals, owned by Mickey O’Brien, have become such a talking point in the local area that motorists have been pulling over to see the herd while out grazing on the lush green pastures surrounding the farm on the Ballyriff Road.
