William Lindsay to showcase Major Cyclone Mower

The Major 2.5m Cyclone Mower bridges the gap between the topper and flail mower and is ideal for use in every day pasture topping. It is also very robust and can be used for heavy shrub and brush clearance.

In heavy conditions, ground speed in gorse would typically be 1mph to 2mph with a flail mower, whereas an operator can easily achieve between 5mph and 8mph in heavy conditions with the Cyclone Mower.

The Cyclone drive line is heavy-duty to cope with the demands of tough cutting. The 2.5m Cyclone features five gearboxes in total, four rotors and one main gearbox. Driving all these Comer gearboxes is a heavy-duty Comer PTO tubing with an over-run clutch and 10mm shear bolt at the machine end. The body is manufactured from 8mm Strenx™ high yield steel and galvanised.
