Young Farmers have great day at Castlewellan Show

County Down young farmers had a fantastic day out promoting the YFCU and indulging in fun filled activities throughout the day.

The ladies driving took place with special thanks to the PSNI for providing safety advice to members.

There was tractor driving with thanks to the Kennedys for providing the tractor.

A floral art competition was held thanks to Hillmount Nurseries, and tug of war thanks to First Trust Bank.

The County Down YFC stand gave public a real insight into being a YFCU member.

Results were as follows :

Straid YFC who came second in tug of war competition

Ladies safe driving: 1st Nicola Edgar (Spa YFC), 2nd Alison Gracey (Rathfriland YFC) and 3rd Rachel Johnston (Donaghadee)

Tug of war - 1st BMWR and 2nd Straid

Floral art - 1st Ellen Woods (A&M), 2nd Connor Woods (A&M) and 3rd Elizabeth Simmons (Rathfriland).
