Zoetis is pleased to announce continued sponsorship of the “ Beef Farmer of the Year” category in the Farming Life/Danske Bank awards.
Aurelie Moralis, veterinary surgeon with Zoetis said: “The ‘Going For Growth Strategy’ which outlines the future for the agri-food industry in Northern Ireland, emphasises the potential for increased food exports and its beneficial effect on the province’s economy. Zoetis aims to be part of that growth by assisting farmers to increase production efficiency through relevant, sustainable and successful animal health programmes.”
Aurelie pointed out that The Farming Life/Danske Bank award will reward and encourage beef producers who have implemented efficient production systems with detailed consideration for animal welfare and the environment.
She went on to explain that Zoetis is a global animal health company which provides a diverse portfolio of animal health products and services.
She added: “Our support and sponsorship of local research, and partnerships with farming organisations highlights our desire to assist cattle farmers and veterinarians.
“We want to help them make informed decisions that contribute to the improvement of the health of their livestock and maximise the potential and profitability of their operation under sustainable conditions.
“At Zoetis, we focus our innovation on discovering and developing the solutions our customers need to succeed.
“We aim to advance the responsible use of veterinary medicines in the interest of animal and human health.”
