Cull cows sell to £1,150 for 750k at Markethill Mart

An entry of 170 cull cows at Markethill on Tuesday 7th March continued to sell in a very firm trade.

Good quality beef bred cows sold from £135 to £153 per 100 kilos for 750k Lim at £1150.

Top price £1,400 for a 976k BB.

Fleshed Friesian cows sold from £110 to £123 for 630k at £785.

Second quality Friesian cows from £90 to £105 per 100 kilos and the poorest friesians from £60 to £80 per 100 kilos.
