Dairy stock to £1,310 at Markethill on Tuesday 14th March paid for a calved Ayrshire cow from a local farmer.

CULL COWS: 90 cull cows sold in a steady trade. Beef bred cows from £130 to £149 per 100 kilos for 884k at £1,325.

Cow/heifers to £183 for 600k Lim at £1,100.

Fleshed Friesian cows from £105 to £119 for 720k at £860.

Second quality Friesians from £90 to £100 and the poorest types from £680 to £80 per 100 kilos.
