Bessbrook farmers support the Hospice

Bessbrook Vintage District Tractor Club is a group of local farmers who amalgamate their common interests in vintage tractors to raise money for charity.

It was formed over 10 years ago and consists of approximately 18 members.

To date, they have raised a fantastic £73,000 for the Southern Area Hospice Services.

This year, the club has three tractor runs and a Threshing day in store. The tractor runs are scheduled for Friday 6th May, Saturday 16th July and Saturday 31st December 2016. The annual threshing day will take place later in the year on Saturday 10th September.

They would like to invite the community to come out and support these local events which raises money for the Hospice and celebrates old time farming trades and crafts.

If you would like to find out more, or get involved, please contact group Chairman David Holmes or contact the Southern Area Hospice Services on 028 3025 1333.
