Bumper entry for Balmoral Ram Sales
Over 220 top notch entries are catalogued for the forthcoming 'Balmoral Ram Sales' which are set to take place at the new showgrounds, Maze, Lisburn on Saturday 3rd September.
Richard Beattie who is organising the sale is delighted with the strong entry: “There is a super selection of stock for buyers to choose from with a number of breeds available on the same day selling through two sale rings.”
The entry comprises of 150 Texel rams and 70 females, 50 Charollais, 25 Suffolk, 40 Vendeen, five Hampshire Down, 12 Beltex and five Rouge.
Judging kicks off at 10.30am followed by two sale rings starting at 12 noon.
