Cloughmills Vintage rally 2016 launched
Members of Cloughmills Vintage Club have launched their annual vintage rally of 2016, which will take place on Saturday, 18th June in the field behind Patton's Bar in the village.
The rally this time around will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Ferguson T.E.20 tractor, which was first introduced by Harry Ferguson back in 1946, and often referred to as ‘The Wee Grey Fergie’.
And as you would expect the club is hoping for a large number of those particular models to be on display at the rally. It would have to be emphasised of course that tractors of all ages and makes will also be welcomed on the day. There will be all the usual attractions from farm implements right through from bric-a-brac stalls, children’s inflatables, butter churning and soda-bread baking to a donkey derby. As in previous years the rally’s sponsor will be McCarroll Plant Hire.
