Judging takes place on the week commencing 15th August, with entries closing on the 29th July.

Results will be announced at the club’s charity barbecue at Dungannon Rugby Club on Saturday 20th August.

Speaking at the launch of the herd competition John Henning from Danske Bank said: “Danske Bank is delighted to again sponsor the NI Aberdeen-Angus Club’s herd competition as we have done for many years. This competition seeks to recognise the commercial attributes of the breed on farm, which is particularly relevant in today’s challenging market place. We wish the organisers and entrants well and look forward to the results in August.”

Any club member who has not received entry from or anyone wishing to attend the barbecue, please contact the secretary Freddie Davidson on 07517 166178.
