HVS pledges '˜Liquid Gold' sponsorship

Organisers of the forthcoming Pedigree Calf Fair @ Beef NI Expo are keen to remind exhibitors that the closing date for entries is Saturday 22nd October.

The schedule boasts a variety of classes for calves aged between seven and fourteen-months-old. The multi-breed show is inviting entries from ten native and continental beef breeds, and boasts a prize fund in excess of £15,000.

Three show rings will be in operation at the event on Saturday 19th November, with judging getting underway at 10.00am.

The showmanship competition, offering two classes for handlers aged from 12 to 21 years-of-age, will commence at 1.00pm.

The entry fee is £18 (including VAT) per exhibit, and the showmanship entry fee is £5 per person.

Completed entry forms must be accompanied by the relevant entry fees and submitted to PCF secretary Ann Orr, on or before the closing date.
